| The more bulky your sleeping bag, the bigger your backpack will need to be. By compressing your sleeping bag you can travel with a smaller pack, or a pack that is better balanced. This will make a huge difference to comfort and fatigue.
Silcoat nylon is tough, water-resistant and very slippery, making it easy to slide a sleeping bag in and out. The sack has a reinforced drawcord top and cord lock closure. With 1/2" nylon webbing straps (3/4" on size Large and XL) and ladder lock buckles so the sack can be compressed evenly. The lid and base are reinforced with 200 D oxford nylon. The bottom pull strap makes it easy to remove items.
Caution: never leave a sleeping bag in a compression stuff sack for extended periods, as it will reduce the longevity of the insulation.
