Products
The Integral Designs brand was started in 1986 and includes five complementary product lines: bivys, tarps, bug shelters, mountain tents, and accessories. All Integral Designs products are designed for multi-day outdoor trips. Product testing is usually done by having the products used in extreme conditions on  mountaineering expeditions. The emphasis is on function and long term durability. The designs and features have been developed and refined following extended use in the outdoors.

Materials
Integral Designs seeks out the best materials available and subjects them to thorough lab and field tests. In each product section, there is a link to the material summary page. At Integral Designs we believe that quality and innovation is always in demand.

Warranty
All Integral products are warrantied to the original owner against defects and workmanship. If a product fails due to manufacturing defect, Integral will repair or replace it at its option. Repairs due to accident, improper use, or wear and tear will be charged on a time and material basis.

Custom sizing / features
Integral Designs started out as a custom manufacturer, making one product at a time specifically for each individual order. Unfortunately, this way of manufacturing is no longer economical. We appreciate your understanding and hope that you'll reach us with product feedback and ideas.

Marketing
Integral is a low key company that avoids high cost advertising campaigns, "dream teams", sponsorships and promotions which are such a part of the big brand name hype. Integral's products have become known and respected by word of mouth referrals, objective reviews and through selective advertising.
